Dr. Lewis was born and raised in the Illinois Quad Cities. She graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine after completing her undergraduate education at the school’s Edwardsville campus. She continues her education through various sources including being a member of both the Spear Faculty Club and Dallas Study Club, a component of the prestigious Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Lewis has additional training in the treatment of tooth wear, dental sleep medicine, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Lewis practiced in Decatur, IL for 15 years before moving south.
In addition to continuing to advance her dental knowledge through study club participation and educational course work, Dr. Lewis enjoys being outdoors and staying active. She is the owner of Floss Boss, an oral health care company, and is the creator of Between Floss & Gloss.
As a transplant to Texas, she enjoys being out in the warm weather and exploring what Dallas has to offer. She loves spending time being active with her two children, Paul and Agnes. She enjoys running, golf, pilates and travel.
